Our staff are highly trained to support children with the preparation and transition into school. We have a carefully planned curriculum which encourages children to learn from a balance of child and adult led play.
Children will work through milestones and progress to using a knife and fork at lunchtimes, as well as having the opportunity to help prepare healthy snacks and access drinks independently. We recognise children learn best from being in an environment which suits their individual needs. We offer free-flow play and children love the freedom of our extensive Pre-School Unit Garden area which has so much to offer, it keeps children excited and engaged in play all day.
The children will begin to experience more structure to their day and will begin to take part in small group activities to assist their learning with a more focussed approach. The children will also get to know our nursery friends known as, Motivated Monkey, Curious Crocodile and Creative Chameleon who are ready and waiting to join them alongside all their learning opportunities, look out for their special stickers that are awarded throughout their day and be ready to hear all about their achievements.
